          ORB Driver is designed to present supported video streams into Milestone XProtect, helping you onboard sources that may not fit neatly into standard device support. It acts as the bridge between incoming video services and the wider surveillance environment, making it easier to work with more devices, more stream types, and more use cases.

            Connect a wide range of live sources into Milestone XProtect, including RTSP/RTSPS, RTMP/RTMPS, SRT, RTP, WebRTC, HLS, MPEG-TS, MPEG-DASH, and MJPEG over HTTP. Support includes H.264 and H.265 streams up to 4K.
          • Built-in transcoding for compatibility
            ORB Driver can transcode video and audio on ingest, including automatic conversion of Opus and other codecs to uncompressed PCM 16-bit for more reliable recording, playback, and export within XProtect.
          • Metadata-rich surveillance workflows

It can send live or playback video out of Milestone XProtect, ingest external sources, and redistribute streams across protocols including RTSP/RTSPS, SRT, RTMP, WebRTC, HLS/LL-HLS, MJPEG, MPEG-TS, and MPEG-DASH.

           ORBNET StreamLink is a lightweight edge application that ingests video from local sources and securely forwards it to the ORBNET Streaming Engine using SRT. Designed for fast deployment and reliable performance, it helps bring remote and distributed video feeds back into the wider Streamforce ecosystem.
